Aryamawit Habteyesus

Aryamawit Habteyesus is a medical Doctor by training, currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is customizing Biostatistics and Mental health programs. Beyond her clinical pursuits, Aryamawit is a visionary leader and founder of the What's Next Global Initiative Civil Society Organization (CSO), based in Ethiopia, with a focus on mental health, health equity and Youth education. Her dedication to healthcare improvement through research is evident through her involvement with various NGO/CSOs, such as GIV Society Ethiopia and Medico-legal & Ethics society of Ethiopia. Her research area of interest includes Behavioral sciences, Mental health in the Black community, Black students in higher education, and Health equity.
